Back at daycare

Back to reality today - work and daycare! Sue the OT came this morning and is really impressed by all the progress Alex is making with eating and his development. We set our appointment for the 6 month Early Intervention evaluation and she really does not think he will need her help anymore. My concern is speech but who knows - maybe let it go for a while and see how he does. We can always have them come re-evaluate at a later date!

When I left daycare this morning Alex was sitting at the big boy table with two of his friends eating Cheerios, crackers and banana thinking it was the best thing ever. He waved bye bye and continued on with his day!

We had a great day yesterday playing with Auntie Laurie and Nicole and going out to lunch even though Alex really wanted nothing to do with sitting in his own chair and eating - but as long as someone was holding him he was fine and he ate his first DD Munchkin - YUM!

We are getting excited for our party with our friends this weekend - lets keep our fingers crossed everyone stays healthy!
