Daddy's Boy

Daddy forgot Alex's hat at daycare on Friday so in order for us to go out for a walk in the beautiful weather yesterday we had to improvise with Daddy's hat - how it fits on both their heads I am not sure - after some protesting - he does not like change - he thought he looked very handsome.

Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day - a little late. What did we do?

Alex got a new playdoh farm set - with a roller and lots of little cookie cutter things. His personal favorite is the tractor - big surprise.

The set came with these three cute little animals on top - you are supposed to put the playdoh in them and then squish it through the holes they have making hair and tails etc. Except in Alex's world this is unacceptable and they must sit on top of the container and watch - they are NOT to be touched or removed from their proper places.

He also got some foam shapes to be used either in the tub or when I get brave enough to bring out the paint.

And what did I get for Valentine's Day? I got chocolate covered strawberries - and boy were they YUMMY - all gone now and I did NOT share!

Snowman

Say HELLO! to Alex's first ever SNOWMAN! With a little help from Mommy we were able to pack down some snow and make an Alex size snowman. Today's snowstorm gave us about 6 inches of the white stuff and it was kind of heavy - not perfect but we made it work. The girls next door gave us a snowman kit for Christmas so we had all of the perfect decorations. Alex was very excited to help "pat" down the snow - which usually meant pushing the snowman's head off.

Where was Daddy during all of this excitement? Fiddling with the snowblower of course!
